A stay abroad will enable you to improve your language skills and learn about foreign cultures. At CLBS you will meet colleagues from many different countries. Through our Work and Study program, you will gain cultural experience, language practice and telephone customer service experience. A qualified job reference as well as a language course certificate upon completion of the program will serve as a reference for your later applications at home and abroad.
The length of the process depends on a few factors. First, what is your intended start date? We always suggest applying 3 months before the desired date. After completing our recruiting process, you must book your flight and inform us of your arrival date.

Please apply online on our homepage and fill in the application form completely. Leave your contact details as e-mail-address and telephone number and enclose a detailed CV. A complete application with all necessary documents is important to prove your qualifications and work experiences at the Thai authorities in case of employment. We will use your personal data exclusively regarding your application process and employment at CLBS Ltd.

After submitting the application, you receive a confirmation letter and our HR Team gets back to you within a week to inform you about the further application process. For our Work and Study program, we expect a collaboration lasting 6 months. You will sign a temporary employment contracts with a one-month notice period and a one-month probation period.
We are a Thai company and adhere to Thai labour laws and conditions. You receive a basic salary of 12,500 THB per month. Further benefits as a quarterly cash bonus of 6,000 THB, daily fresh fruits and a weekly massage are provided. In addition, we also offer 12 days of paid leave and 2 days of unpaid leave a year.
You must apply for a Non-B-Business visa at a Thai embassy or consulate outside of Thailand. Our experienced staff prepares and provides you all necessary documents for the application and handles all the paperwork to apply for your work permit. You will need to apply for a 3-month business visa (single entry). The Non-B-Business visa will be transferred to a one-year visa after your arrival and will be extended if you decide to stay another year with us. You can apply for the visa 90 days before your arrival in Chiang Mai.
You will get Thai social insurance, which includes compulsory health insurance. You will be insured under the social security system of Thailand and the monthly contribution will be deducted from your salary. Furthermore, you must pay 3 months into your health insurance first before you can receive benefits. Because of this, we provide you with private insurance as well, with benefits available immediately. You will have insurance from the first day of your employment here in Thailand and you can expect excellent medical care around the clock.
You will work 6 hours per day, totalling 30 hours per week. You will work from either 08:30-14:30 hrs. or 09:00-15.00 hrs. (European Time) Monday to Friday. You will have weekends off. If you would like to work overtime, you can ask for extra shifts during the weekend. You can settle your overtime hours with your salary or take them as time off. You will receive your work schedule two weeks in advance.

At CLBS, you support our clients by taking on some of their daily tasks at busy or stressful times. You are the 'helping hand in the background' who will be relied upon by our clients whenever they are unable to handle their incoming phone calls. Your primary task will be the receipt and handling of customer enquiries by phone – about various topics and for various clients.
Due to the time difference, our shifts start in the afternoon and early evening hours. Your language course will occur before your working time 3 days a week at Chiang Mai University, for a total of 6 hours.

We provide a pick-up and drop-off service for you which will take you from your accommodation to the university, and from the university to work.
The English course includes a TOEIC exam and the Thai course includes a similar final exam. You will receive your exam results and a certificate of achievement for your respective course after the exam.
The Language Institute at Chiang Mai University (LICMU) is a learning center for developing skills in foreign languages. It is a governmental institution; thus, we ask all participants to dress appropriately whilst at the university.
We reserve the right to keep the deposit of 9,000 THB, and depending on the date of your resignation, further payments might arise.
