CLBS: A Caring Company Where Work Is More Than Just a Job

Carolin Yilmaz, Operations Director at CLBS, an international outsourcing company in Chiang Mai, sat down with Chang Puak Magazine to discuss the company’s mission, vision, and values, as well as the benefits and opportunities that CLBS offers its employees.

  • What is CLBS’s mission and vision?

CLBS offers professional business support with an emphasis on secretarial services to European companies. Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality professional business support services, while providing our employees with a caring work environment that prioritizes support, diversity, and recognition as well as providing valuable benefits to our employees. We put our company slogan "It´s more than just a job" into practice to make working with CLBS a memorable experience.

  • Does CLBS take care of the visa and paperwork for its team members?

Yes, we have a whole department dedicated to taking care of all the steps involved in living and working in Thailand. Our company was founded in 2005 and is supported by the Board of Investment (BOI) here in Thailand, which makes us a safe and trustworthy company to work for. We take care of everything from visas to work permits, immigration reports, and health insurance. We also provide airfare to Thailand and accommodation during the first two weeks so that our new team members can settle in happily and discover the city. Newcomers are also welcomed by a senior team member who will show them around and be by their side every step of the way.

  • How many people do you employ, and which nationalities are you recruiting at the moment?

We employ more than 150 employees from various nationalities. We are a very diverse company. Currently, as we are expanding, we are looking to fill a large number of positions in Customer Care Representative. We are now recruiting German, French, Spanish, and Swiss members.

  • What are the requirements to work at CLBS?

Job seekers must be over 22 years old, have a university or vocational degree, and a proof of 5 years of work experience in general or 2 years of work experience in a Call Center. They should have an open-minded nature and good communication skills. It is not mandatory to have worked in a secretarial or phone management role before; we train all our team members.

  • What advice would you give to someone interested in working at CLBS?

Don’t hesitate, just contact us! You can call our recruiting team directly or fill out the form on our website.

In addition to the benefits and opportunities mentioned above, CLBS also offers its employees comprehensive training, holiday bonuses, free massage, team events, daily fresh fruit, monthly lunches and many more benefits. CLBS is truly a company where work is more than just a job.
