Loy Krathong 2016 Photos

Happy Loy Krathong! Loy Krathong is the day when Thai people gather around lakes, rivers and canals to pay respects to the goddess of water by releasing beautiful Krathongs (lotus shaped raftsdecorated with candles, incense and flowers) onto the water and launching Yi pengs (sky lanterns) into the night sky. Every year, Loy Krathong falls on the night of the twelfth lunar month (usually in November. This year it was on November 14.)

On that day, CLBS hosted our annual Krathong Making Workshop at Kad Klang Wiang, Chiang Mai. It was another special occasion to be thankful for! We can't thank all the people who attended our Krathong Making Workshop this year enough. Your support helped to make the event a great success. #itsmorethanjustajob #clbsjobs
